As the Women’s Reservation Bill is passed in India today, Mandira Bedi was dropped by SET Max to make room for 4 male cricket anchors including Gaurav Kapur, Samir Kochhar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Angad Bedi.

Bedi has called SET Max home for the past 7 years and was dropped because “the show was going back to the basics and the presentation would be about serious, hardcore cricket” if reports are to be believed!

Sadsies.

But thanfully MB was scooped up by UK’s ITV one of the oldest tv networks that has exclusive broadcasting rights for DLF-III meaning that MB’s face and voice will be watched by over 20 million viewers!

KK’s handlers used the excuse of a “flight delay” but apparently the real reason was that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wasn’t able to attend the ceremony and present the award.

We can’t believe it took THREE hours to decide to accept the award from someone else!

Being honored is a big deal in itself, the presenter shouldn’t have such an impact!!

Considered one of the most prestigious film awards, Priyanka Chopra won the National Film Award for her performance as Meghna Mathur in Fashion!

Imran Khan put a ring on his girlfriend of 5 years, Avantika Malik daughter of TV18’s executive Vandana Malik in front of 300 guests including Karan Johar, Kunal Kapoor and Aamir Khan at Malik’s farmhouse in Kajrat.

Imran wore a black bandgala sherwani designed by Karan Johar and Varun Bahl and Avantika wore a blue Varun Bahl lehenga as the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na slipped a ring which he designed onto his lady’s finger.

Imran also gifted AM a red Volkswagen Beetle with the license plate being a combination of their birthday. How adorable!

Shirish Kunder and wifey Farah Khan (Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om) announced that they were planning on making a film titled Joker. The script was being written for Shahrukh Khan however he refused (!). Kunder then approached close friend John Abraham who signed up asap! This will be Abraham’s second film with the husband-wife team’s production house Three’s Company (cause of their triplets..get it? hehe). He is also slated to start shooting for Alien Sahib with them.

Various media outlets are reporting that this is in SRK’s response to being replaced in Tees Maar Khan (which was written for Khan) with Akshay Kumar. Apparently Khan is pissy and is now refusing to do any films with her.

Farah decided to replace Khan because SRK’s Red Chilies Entertainment dumped her husband for Zoya Factor and so replacing him with Akshay was her response.

So now thats THREE films written FOR SRK that other actors are doing… whew!

Depending on whether you are Team John/Akshay or Team SRK you are either happy or sad at this news!

Sushmita Sen was finally granted an order from the High Court to adopt another baby. Alicia is 3 months old and joins older sister Renee, who is 10. SS has been quoted as saying she is in love with her new bebe. “She is extremely beautiful. She has got my mother’s complexion. Renee is like me and Alicia is like her grandmother.”

Congrats to Sush and her new bundle of joy!!
