OF BEING A POWER COUPLE!

Akshay Kumar and his interior designer wifey Twinkle Khanna stepped out at Mahalaximi Racecourse in Mumbai to attend an event.

We loooove how they were kinda matchy-matchy with the graphic print tee & dress!

Shirish Kunder and wifey Farah Khan (Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om) announced that they were planning on making a film titled Joker. The script was being written for Shahrukh Khan however he refused (!). Kunder then approached close friend John Abraham who signed up asap! This will be Abraham’s second film with the husband-wife team’s production house Three’s Company (cause of their triplets..get it? hehe). He is also slated to start shooting for Alien Sahib with them.

Various media outlets are reporting that this is in SRK’s response to being replaced in Tees Maar Khan (which was written for Khan) with Akshay Kumar. Apparently Khan is pissy and is now refusing to do any films with her.

Farah decided to replace Khan because SRK’s Red Chilies Entertainment dumped her husband for Zoya Factor and so replacing him with Akshay was her response.

So now thats THREE films written FOR SRK that other actors are doing… whew!

Depending on whether you are Team John/Akshay or Team SRK you are either happy or sad at this news!

The Sabse Favourite Kaun awards were given out last night in Mumbai and the star-studded event attendees included Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan, Asin, Payal Rohtagi etc.

Some people were aapke favourite and some weren’t, but the only thing we’re keen on is judging who looked the best last night!!! Hehe.

Our best dressed goes to Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi.

Everyone who was anyone showed up to support the Bachchan’s for the premiere of their new film Paa.

Attendees included Kajol with hubby Ajay Devgan, Shah Rukh Khan with his family, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan, Anil Ambani, Subash Ghai, Yash Chopra, Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Dia Mirza, Arshad Warsi, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle Khanna and Juhi Chawla.

De Dana Dan is FULTU masala film.

It’s loud, outragerous, funny, silly, crazy and absolutely unbelievable.

And we LOVED it.

5 Reasons to Paisaaaaaaaa kharcho:

1. Akshay Kumar. He is so funny, amusing and hilarious in the film. In previous films, he tends to overract, but in DDD he kills it with his body language and emotions as a naukar to Archana Puran Singh and her kutha Mulchandji.

2. Johnny Lever. He is amazing! The best of the best of our filmy comedians. Special mentions are the scenes with his crazy strong liquid and towel combo!

3. Neha Dhupia. Her item number is so seksi especially with the pirate, gangster and army costumes. She is even hotter as the call-girl who just wants her paisa. She looks good and delivers.

4.

Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Sameera Reddy continued the pressmeets for De Dana Dan through the major metros.

Noticeably absent from the promotion of the unofficial 3rd film in the Hera Phera series was Katrina Kaif who is recovering from jaundice and our faaave Babu Bhaiya aka Paresha Rawal!

Everyone is hoping DDD will be an even bigger blockbuster since it repeats the cast & director of the HP magic. We’ll have to wait til this weekend to see how that works out.
