Many stylish ladies and gentlemen of the Industry attended the IPL awards where Priyanka Chopra and SRK even performed.

Among the well-dressed attendees included Arjun Rampal with wifey Mehr Jessia, Mughdha Godse (for once not a complete fashion disaster!), Preity Zinta (length of gown could’ve been altered, it was like she was drowning in fabric), Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra and Shamita Shetty.

The two Shetty sisters were definitely the most gorj ladies of the evening! Sameera Reddy could’ve opted for a better dress since the gold number didn’t do her justice. And Sherlyn Chopra looked as if she was trying too hard with a too-tight, too-short and too-belted dress. And with the least memorable oufits were Dia Mirza and Amrita Rao who were rather boring in their black and white ensembles.

We likey Amrita Rao in this glammed up avatar for Salon magazine. Kudos to L’Oreal for the lovely hair and makeup because they made Amu look classy as hell, which is a nice departure from her usual photoshoots!

We approve!!!!

Wearing a chocolate coloured halter-dress, Amrita Rao is on the cover of FHM India as the “hottie next door” for the month of January.

We truly genuinely miss her innocent/covered-up days. Le sigh.

Hmm.

It’s more cute than sexy compared to other Maxim covers we’ve seen.

But we guess we’ll have to wait and see until the inside photoshoot pictures to really see if Ms Rao’s attempt to shed that girl-next-door-cutesy image was sucessful!!

Amrita Rao sashayed down the runway in Manish Malhotra to mark the end of the 5-day Kolkata Fashion Week and she looked amazing!!!

We think out of all the beauties she defintely looked the best!

The pink lehnga seems reminiscent of that pink creation she wore recently!

Umm we aren’t sure that brides-to-be want such a out there look..but then again judging from brides these days, who really knows! This collection may sell like hot-cakes!!

MAK never fails to dissapoint as a MILF, but Amrita Rao at the same event was SUCH a dissapointment…

It’s good that there’s a buffer aka Shekhar Suman between the two…otherwise wearing that awful gawdy mermaidy bottom and standing next to MAK…..yeah…..you know how that would feel, dear reader!!!

Hmm. See some actress’s can adopt both looks and switch between the two effortlessly (like Kareena Kapoor) but others look better and more comfortable in period films or those simple nari type-roles (like Viday Balan).

Unfortunately Short Kut bombed at the box office, so maybe it’s time to go back to your nice-girl avatar Amu??
