Check out the first still of Ashutosh Gowariker’s new film featuring Deepika Padukone who is starring opposite Abhishek Bachchan for the first time!

D-Pad in  piggytails looks so adorabs! She is defintely a better choice than Asin we thinks!

Abhishek Bachchan has been tweeting about Goa and Ashutosh Gowariker and his new film has finally does the mahurat scene which means filming has begun! Woo!

The film is titled Khelein Hum Jee Jan Sey and is supposedely based on the book Do and Die by Manini Chatterjee which recounts the Chittagong Uprising of 1030. Deepika Padukone will be joining shooting where she is replacing Asin who dropped out of the filming.

Well, we have to say we are excited that Mr Gowariker is going back to his speciality- period films! It’ll be interesting to see D-Pad in a period flick alongside AB.

The film is excepted to be out in late 2010.

LOVE LOVE the orange and purple combination on Piggy Chops and Hurman needs to step it up!!!
