We fell in love with Mr IshQ Bector when a dear friend of ours told us to check out that video above, Aye Hip Hopper on Youtube and since then we can’t get enough of this Winnipeg-product who can sing/dance/compose and produce some sweeeet tuneage!

And we are so lucky to get the opportunity to interview one of our favourite artists on the desi music scene! With such LOL-worthy answers and great ambitions, he’s become even more of our favouritest (if thats possible) artist!

What’s the story behind IshQ Bector? Just a crazy kid following his dream to become a great Music Director for Indian Cinema

Who would you love to collaborate with? R.D. Burman and Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas

What is on repeat on your iPod? Bhoot, my next video song, I’m currently mixing it- so constantly listening, improving and pumping it!!

Who or what is your biggest muse? My friends…especially my close girlfriend Mary Jane.

So TheMidayMasala.com is a genie and we will grant you 3 wishes, what would they be?

1. Open “Film-ishQ-tan,” my very own movie production studio that makes Yash Raj Film studio look like a home video specialist!

2. Give me a “Time Machine” so I can go back 20 years to go on a hot date with Madhuri Dixit.

3. The private phone numbers of every stinking telemarketer that has called me offering “free” stuff so I can harass them back! RRRascals!!!

What is IshQ Bector busy with (projects in the works)?

I’m putting the final touches on my next album to be released in September 2009! Some film tracks like Kala Jadoo from Allah ke Bande, Like This from Kacha Nimboo and plus my cameo acting debut in Chris Kattan’s Bollywood Hero!

We admit it, we shed a silent tear when IshQ Bector was the first to be eliminated from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao and we KNOW you were sad as well.

Ever since one of our friends sent us Aye! Hip Hopper to listen to, we’ve been hooked on the Dakku Daddy rapper. And lucky for us, his elimination was not in vein because he released a song about it!!

Sony Entertainment Television is set to bring the drama from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! to the Indian audiences!!

We were so completely glued when The Hills‘ Spencer and Heidi Pratt were causing all sorts of mayhem on the US Version and we can’t wait to see what’ll happen on this desi version!!

The jungle which has been chosen is the Taman Negara tropical rainforest in Malaysia and there are a whole host of names you will probably recognize (and others you probably will not hehe).

Among them is Aakash Deep Saigal “Ansh” from hit television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Aman Vermaan an actor but whose more famous  for that casting couch sting operation, singer Anaida, Chetan Hansraj “Sasha” from tv show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, hip hop Canadian artists IshQ Bector , model Marc Robinson who is also Preity Zinta’s ex-boyfriend and Mona Vasu who played Millie on the Star Plus.
