Oyy, it seems that Neil Nitin Mukesh took the title of his movie New York a bit too far with that heinous Statue of Liberty tie.

Neil, you don’t need to promote your movie so…”creatively” because it’s quite brilliant in its message and you did you were amazing in it. So please no themed Statue of Liberty socks or boxers.

Ok, maybe we’re being too harsh because judging by the expression of NNM’s face it seems he realizes his mistake.

Bipasha Basu and crickter MS Dhoni teamed up to shoot an ad for the new Reebok HEXRIDE brand of shoes. The ad was filmed in Hong Kong and features the two leaping and bounding across the streets racing each other.

Bips ever the gymrat looks so nicely toned and Dhoni…well he’s Dhoni.She’s definitely showing enough dum for the both of them. John Abraham is a lucky lucky man na?

New York starring Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham and Irfan Khan is set to release in the next few weeks.

The film spans the years from 1999 til 2007 and revolves around the lives of  John, Katrina and Neil during the events that transpire around 9/11.

Kabir Khan the director of New York says the film is based on part of the political canvas of 9/11, but it speaks of prejudices after the great human tragedy. It is a definite and very relevant subject about post-9/11 prejudices that have increased after the attacks [...] We have in fact divided time in a pre- and post-9/11 world in the film to highlight its obvious repercussions in times to come. The repercussions of the attacks are still very strongly felt globally and will continue to do so.
