Arjun Rampal and all his friends were in Delhi Friday night for the launch of his restaurant cum lounge bar LAP (Lounge And Pary) with A D Singh. Among the attendees were Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Koel Puri, Giselle Monteiro and Hrithik Roshan with wife Suzanne Roshan.

Congrats on the opening AR!

We will definitely put LAP on our to-do list for our next Delhi trip. Hehe.

PS It’s weird that Arjun’s BFF  Farhan Akhtar was nowhere to be seen…HMMMM?

As the world eagerly awaits Karan Johar’s next magnum opus starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Fox Studio is set to be part of the project as well.

It has been widely reported that Fox Studio has purchased the worldride rights for My Name is Khan for Rs 100 crore (roughly $33 million USD). This is nearly double the budget of MNIK!! Sources reveal that the highest buyout was Ghajini with Rs 90 crore.

It’s SRK’s popularity, his jodi with Kajol and of course Karan Johar wich is finally making the world take notice of our cinema!!

Eeeeeee we have already started a countdown til Jan 2010!!

So it seems that Karan Johar is planning to remake Stepmom for his next film and he has chosen none other than Kareena Kapoor to play Julia Robert’s character and Kajol to play Susan Sarandon.

There is NO doubt that each of these starlets have enough awards, box-office clout and beauty to do ABSOLUTE justice to the roles BUT….

Can you imagine President Obama in a movie with SRK?

Well it’s happening dear MM readers! My Name is Khan, the highly anticipated film by Karan Johar based on a true story will feature Shahrukh Khan in scenes with an Obama lookalike. Apparently the search has begun!

This movie will also feature the jodi of SRK and Kajol after nearly 9 years!

Eee can’t wait.

We shall also make you await with anticpation by including our favourite scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in which Raj and Simran made us forever believe that a love somewhere out there would win over the hearts of our family and whisk us away on a train. *sigh*

The chocolate boy is back with Wake Up Sid. It’s a Karan Johar and Yash Raj Film co-production so we know for sure it won’t dissapoint!

The premise is about a young Ranbir Kapoor falling for an older Konkona Sen Sharma (they aren’t THAT many years apart are they?). Ranbir‘s bapu will be Anupam Kher.

*Fingers Crossed* Let’s hope it’s another hit for Mr Chocolate Boy.
