Mustafa Zahid, lead singer of Pakistani band Roxen has returned to hindi playback singing with the movie Runway.

We last heard Zahid on Mahesh Bhatt’s Awarapan where he sang Tera Mera Rishta and Toh Phir Aao. The songs swept over nation and secured the top spots on all the music charts (and in our hearts).

This time MZ is back to recreate the magic by singing those soft-rock Sufi-esque tracks we love.

Khuda Ke Liye is truly poetic and mellow.

Perfect combination.

Mahesh Bhatt’s Vishesh films is all set to release their new movie come mid-July titled Jashn. Since premise of the film revolves around Adhyayan Suman musical journey, we can expect the soundtrack to be unbelievably good!

Another indefinite hit for the Bhatt camp?

As the industry reacts with shock and disbelief about Shiney Ahuja’s admission of raping his maid, he has been held in Judicial Custody since June 13th.

While most industry-insiders were quick to condemn his actions, others waited for more concrete evidence. Medical examinations of the 18 year old confirms that Ahuja sexually assaulted her, however Ahuja has vehemently denies it even admitting all that occurred was consensual.

Mahesh Bhatt who is responsible for Ahuja’s most sucessful hit Gangster was quoted as saying: the news has shocked and shamed us. The Shiny we at Vishesh Films worked with in Gangter and Woh Lamhe is not the demon that surfaced in the media on Sunday night. If what is alleged is proved in the courts we must condemn the dastardly deed with all our might. Our outrage cannot be selective.

Ahuja’s wife has stood right by her husband throughout the crisis and alleges that he is being framed because of his celebrity status.

Unfortunately for many film producers and directors, there are close to Rs. 10-12 crores ridding on Ahuja’s court decision. In all he has 4 films which include Jahnu Barua’s Har Pal with Preity Zinta, Anurag Chaudhary’s Accident with Soha Ali Khan, Vinod Pande’s Chalu Movies Inc and Silver Cord with Val Kilmer.

The industry (and the MM)  await the trail and ultimate court decision of this matter.
