Wowweeeee.

The endorsements never stop for Genelia D’Souza as she was scooped up by Virgin Mobile to launch its GSM service in 5 South Indian cities. G will be appearing in print and television ads to promote the new Global System for Mobile communications.

Ranbir Kapoor has also been signed as an ambassador for Virgin and will be seen alongside G in all the new promos including their new ad which has already started playing on television!!

Eeee we can’t wait to seeee!!

Imran Khan put a ring on his girlfriend of 5 years, Avantika Malik daughter of TV18′s executive Vandana Malik in front of 300 guests including Karan Johar, Kunal Kapoor and Aamir Khan at Malik’s farmhouse in Kajrat.

Imran wore a black bandgala sherwani designed by Karan Johar and Varun Bahl and Avantika wore a blue Varun Bahl lehenga as the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na slipped a ring which he designed onto his lady’s finger.

Awww!!

Imran also gifted AM a red Volkswagen Beetle with the license plate being a combination of their birthday. How adorable!

Congratulations you newly engaged lovebirds!

P.S. Missing from the celebration was IK’s bff Ranbir Kapoor. Sources say that since RK was Avantika’s ex (they dated for 5 years!) he opted out of attending to avoid any awkwardness. Good call?

2009 has been a great year for Ranbir Kapoor!  He killed it in Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh and Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani and is on the rise to become a serious contender among his generation of actors.

We loove the black and white stylying of the shoot and can’t WAIT for his next, Rajneeti to hit theatres in May!!!

Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at Sahar aiport as they left for New York to finish shooting for Anjaana Anjaani. It’s another Sajid Nadiadwala production to except fab costumes, sets and obviously beautifully shot-locales.

We guess that means PC + RK will be ringing in 2010 together…let’s hope Katrina Kaif (Ranbir’s alleged looooove interest) isn’t too lonely!!

The Sabse Favourite Kaun awards were given out last night in Mumbai and the star-studded event attendees included Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan, Asin, Payal Rohtagi etc.

Some people were aapke favourite and some weren’t, but the only thing we’re keen on is judging who looked the best last night!!! Hehe.

Our best dressed goes to Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi.

1. The script. Jaideep Sahni is an utter genius. It’s absolutely novel, brilliant and perfect. Even if you aren’t at the age where its time to step into the “real” world from college, you will be able to relate to the timidness of HP of a new job and the way he is overly eager to follow his bosses.

3. Ranbir Kapoor. He is just perfection! His acting, emotions, dialogue delivery and body language is pure effortless. After the first few scenes, you forget that this the next scion of the Kapoor clan and wonder what how Mr Singh will manage now.

4. D Santosh as Giri, the computer geek/techie. He is so brills!! His dialogues are so witty and delivered with such conviction that his performance was absolutely flawless. (Mukesh Bhatt as Chotelal Mishra and Gauhar Khan as Koena also deserve special mention as they round our the delightful cast of the film!)

5. Naveen Kaushik as Nitin Rathore, HP’s immediate boss and Manish Choudhary as the company’s smirky and cocky boss are SO amazing! They take the film to the next level and  are SUCH a delight to watch and laugh with.

Also there were rumours going around that Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone were getting too close for comfort with texts between the two leading to the breakup of D-Pad and Ranbir Kapoor. But those rumours were silly and the result of how good the two look together!
