The director of Bend it Like Beckham is back with another desi comedy!

This time Gurinder Chadha’s film is about an Indian momma that takes the obsession with shaadi to a whole new level!

You’ll probably recognize Dr Suresh aka Sendhil Ramamurthy from the tv series Heroes playing the hawt undercover cop!

Shabana Azmi as the obsessed ma is hilaaaarrr casting! Eeeee can’t wait!

The film hits theaters the end of April for all you U.K. folks!

Malaika Arora-Khan and Twinkle Khanna (two of the Industry’s arguably hottest, seksiest and stylish momma’s!)  came out to support A Tribute to Kaifi Azmi Mijwan in Mumbai along with other celebrities.

The event as organized to raise funds of the Mijwan welfare society which poet and father of Shabana Azmi (Kafi Azmi) founded to support the education of young girls.

How lovely!

It’s warms our filmy hearts when celebs support events like this and help with all the resources they have.

WHAT a starstudded reception!

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra threw a GRAND reception at the Grand Hyatt and many many starlets showed up to make it a memorable affair.

Among the attendees were Amitabha Bachchan and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, singer Adnan Sami, Vivek Oberoi, Hrithik Roshan with wife Suzanne Roshan,  Shahrukh Khan along with wife Gauri, Ritesh Deshmukh, Amisha Patel, noted lyricist Javed Akhtar and his actress wife Shabana Azmi, Sunil Shetty, Rani Mukherjee with her mother, Govinda and family, R. Madhavan with his wife, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Gulshan Grover and the list goes on….
